The guest suites at the Riad Ibn Battuta are absolutely amazing! The rooms are cozy and comfortable, with satellite TV and free Wi-Fi for all your entertainment needs. The private bathrooms are clean and equipped with everything you need. I felt so relaxed and at home here.
Personally, I found the lack of air conditioning in the units at Riad Haj Palace a bit disappointing. But hey, I understand that some people enjoy a more authentic experience and prefer not to use air conditioning.

Big building and rooms with a great shower. Delicious and tasty breakfast options, including bread, jam, and fruit. Great and stunning setting, very close to the medina near Bab Boujeloud and shops, restaurants and bars. Also, in the square outside the gate...

We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived at Dar Mehdi. The friendly staff welcomed us with mint tea and delicious Moroccan cookies, making us feel instantly at ease. The riad itself is beautifully decorated with intricate tiles and our room had a comfortable bed and a spacious bathroom with a large shower. The staff provided us with all the necessary amenities and even upgraded our room for free. We enjoyed a fabulous breakfast on the rooftop terrace, overlooking a minaret. The location of the riad was also convenient, close to shops, entrances, and ATMs. Despite a few minor issues with the shower and wifi, our overall experience at Dar Mehdi was exceptional. We would highly recommend this hotel to others.

During our stay at Dar Mehdi, we had the incredible opportunity to arrange a desert tour directly from the riad. The knowledgeable staff helped us plan a breathtaking adventure through the vast Sahara, where we rode camels and witnessed mesmerizing sunsets amidst the sand dunes. It was an unforgettable experience that will forever be cherished by our entire family. The riad's convenient location and warm hospitality provided us with a perfect base to explore the beautiful city of Fes.
For dads, it would be great to have a designated play area for children.

The breakfast was enjoyable with some complementary sweets and hot beverages. the location was spot on and made it easy to navigate around the city. Lastly, we loved the view from our room, it was quite beautiful.
the TV signal was not very good and it would cut off in the middle of watching a show, which was quite infuriating.

The hotel is located in a convenient location close to everything you need. You can easily find many great restaurants around in the city center. the hotel is in the heart of the medina, allowing you to explore the area more easily. the room and bathroom are both comfortable and clean, and the service is friendly. the breakfast is delicious, and the rooftop provides a great view of the city.
While the hotel offers great service, the water pressure in the bathroom can sometimes be a bit low, which may cause problems when taking a shower or using the sink.

Had a great Xmas stay at this hotel! Loved the clean and spacious rooms and the delicious breakfast offered! The location was also perfect, close to all the main attractions and easy to explore the city. We also enjoyed the peacefulness of the hotel, which made for a relaxing stay.
We felt the price was quite high compared to other similar hotels and we wished there were more amenities offered at the hotel. navigating to the hotel was a bit tricky, especially at night, and it would have been helpful if there were clearer directions provided or signposting along the way.

Don't have any issues at all.

The hotel's decor was simply delightful, with vibrant colors and traditional Moroccan patterns that brought a sense of warmth and comfort. The common areas were beautifully adorned with intricate tiles and soft cushions, making it a perfect place for seniors to relax and unwind. Additionally, the hotel had thoughtfully placed handrails and ample lighting throughout, ensuring the safety and accessibility of older guests. It was a true haven for us seniors!
If I could suggest one improvement for a better vacation experience for senior people, it would be to have more assistance available for carrying luggage up the stairs. The children working there were friendly and helpful, but their small stature made it a bit challenging for them to handle heavy bags.
